The MusicNomad MN604 Precision Setup Gauge Set sets you up with six tools you need to optimise the setup of any guitar or bass, no matter if it has steel or nylon strings. Each precision gauge features instructions printed on the handle as well as laser-engraved measurements, giving amateur luthiers a helping hand. Ik was wat onderzoek aan het doen wat er allemaal komt kijken bij een gitaar afstellen. Vooral na de aanschaf van een nieuwe gitaar, waarbij ik merkte dat ik meer last had van m'n vingers dan gebruikelijk. Ook heb ik niet echt een winkel in de buurt waar ik de gitaar zo heen kan brengen om dit te laten doen. Het komt precies en ik heb niet de ervaring om dit met basic tools uit te voeren. Zo kwam ik uit op een uitgebreide video van MusicNomad waar ze stap voor stap uitlegden hoe dit afstellen moet. Ik moet zeggen dat de precisiemeters het een stuk makkelijker maken, je krijgt meer gevoel bij wat je aan het doen bent. Gitaar speelt stuk aangenamer!
de 4 sterren in plaats van 5 sterren is omdat ik het nog wel aan de prijs vind voor de set.
